During Donald Trump’s campaign, he made a lot of insulting comments towards many people, groups of people, companies, organizations and nations. I felt a personal attack when Trump attacked women and the black community with his offensive remarks. Trump’s disrespect for women was something I took personally because I am a female. I worry about him as president.

Barack Obama was an awesome President who helped all of our people, blacks and whites. I love Barack Obama because he did not care about what race you were. Obama treated everyone like their culture was equal and he treated us the same.

At my school lunches are so unpleasant to me. They look so unlikable at times I think,”Do they care about the student”?.

Sharing, especially sharing makeup with other people, can be harmful.  You should never share lip gloss because it spreads germs, infections and can make you sick.  If you share makeup supplies, throw them in the trash. If you do share make-up and still want to use it, be sure to clean and soak your makeup brushes in mild cleanser, alcohol and hot water just to kill the germs and bacteria.  If your friend doesn’t have the proper cleaning materials then, buy it for her as a gift.  

On December 8th, 2016, the fifth grade class at Friendship Blow Pierce went on a camping trip to Alice Ferguson Foundation Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center. While going there I was excited, but once we arrived, I immediately fell in love with the scenery of the camping grounds. The most adventurous parts of this camping experience was every thing that allowed me to interact with nature.

What do you prefer, Androids or Iphones? They both are extremely different. However, they are both equipped with every application needed to survive. So what's the rave and rant that makes these phones so hot?  Well, one thing that has totally transformed technology are emojis.

February 7th, 2017. Have you ever wanted to be in a school spelling bee? Well, I have always wanted to participate in an actual real spelling bee. My school spelling bee has lots of easy and hard words like personification, precautionary, and aspirations.

January 11, 2017. Over the years, dance has played an important role in helping people get in shape and be healthy. In 2016-17 there are all types of different dances. Some of the dances consist of JuJu on that beat, Running Man and of course, the famous Whip and Nae Nae.

 Blow Pierce went to the Air and Space Museum with the Junior Cadet program.  We did lots of activities.  First, we went to the top level which is also the tower. In the tower, we had a fantastic view.  We saw a big field, a runway for the airplanes and clear parking lots.

February 1, 2017. Black History Month began as Negro History Week which was created in 1926 by Carter G.Woodson. Carter G. Woodson was an African-American writer and historian known as the “Father Of Black History Month.” He also wrote an influential book, The Mis-Education of The Negro. Carter G.Woodson was born on December 19, 1875, and died on April 3, 1950. 

I'm sure many people like me and you would love the new Jordans or any new shoes. My favorite shoes are the new Jordans in the picture above. 

December 21, 2016. The kindergarteners had an awesome play which was presented to the school before the holidays. It was so joyful and extremely funny to see the scholars in action.

On August 4, 2016, Friendship students went to “Black Lives Matter” march that was organized by the Friendship Public Charter Schools. The trip was was very tiring, but very inspirational. The fact that we are standing up for ourselves shows that you shouldn't be afraid to stand up for yourself and what you believe in. 

The Friendship Woodridge Academy honored its student athletes during their annual athletic banquet on Thursday, May 26, 2016.  The athletes were awarded for dance, basketball, volleyball, flag football, track, and cheerleading.

During the 2016 halftime of Super Bowl 50, Beyonce did a tribute to the Black Panther Party by wearing all black and having all black women dance wearing afros and berets on their heads. There was a lot of hate towards Beyonce. People were saying it was outrageous to do it at the Super Bowl....

I’m not really into cooking but the way my grandmother told me a story about a family  recipe I became interested. One day my grandmother was cooking salmon and shrimp.... 

The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was issued in 2002 by President George Bush. This was made to help children, but it turned out to stress them out with too much testing in 2016. Now President Obama wants to stop it.

On March 18, 2016 at Friendship Blow Pierce Elementary School, Ms. Gibson’s 3rd grade class had a political debate and rally that you can see in the video above.  The debate was about how school funds should be used....
