Have you ever met an adult book worm? If not, then Friendship Woodridge has the ultimate book worm! Her name is Ms. Whitfield and she is our librarian. She’s probably read almost EVERY BOOK in EVERY GENRE! We decided to interview her to show how much she is appreciated.

Megan Pete, better known as Megan Thee Stallion, is an American 24-year-old rapper, songwriter, singer, and actress. She premiered in a series called “Hottieween”. She has albums such as Tina Snow, and Fever. She is working on a degree in Health Administration as a third year college student.  

Have you ever wondered what happened to the descendants of Harriet Tubman? Well, look no further - two of Harriet Tubman’s descendants are here at Friendship Woodridge! One of her great-nieces is Maddison Lewis, she is in the seventh grade and the other great-niece is Mackenzie Lewis, who is in the fourth grade.

Wanting to go to college and having the finances is one of the biggest worries for high school seniors. A lot of the time students aren't allowed to enroll in the colleges of their choice because they didn't receive any scholarship money or maybe didn’t have enough to attend.

Baby food. We all have had it at least once in our lives. Since baby food is for babies and babies are so fragile you would think that what they’re eating would be very healthy. It’s not.

Can you believe a four-year-old wrote a book? Yes, this is true! You might have heard of this on social media or even the news. A four-year-old girl, Parker Curry, who lives in Washington, DC, did not know her face would be seen around the world on a visit with her mom to the National Portrait Museum. 

Do you remember when you were little and used to sit in front of the TV for hours just watching your favorite Sesame Street characters? Chances are that you don’t, but either way, it was probably nothing compared to what Sesame Street has decided to tackle this time. 

On Saturday, November 9th, Collegiate Knights football team took on Royalty Institute at Spingan. Our team obliterated the Kings with a massive blow out, bringing home a win of 47-14.

On November 2, 2019, Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights took on Life Christian Academy at Spingarn taking home a win of 11-8.

HEY!!! Do you like candy, costumes, and books? So do we! Kids in pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade get to dress up as characters in books and get candy from older kids and teachers

On October 11, 2019, at Riverdale Baptist High School, Collegiate Knights took home a win of 42 to 0 against the Riverdale Crusaders, delivering a major blow out after losing two games. 

The topic of chicken sandwiches hasn’t really sparked much conversation until Popeyes began promoting their chicken sandwiches. The conversation started on Twitter. Chick-fil-a tweeted “Bun + Chicken + Pickle = Love”.

Once again another retail store is closing its doors. Why? It probably has a lot to do with all of the online shopping and new clothing stores popping up everywhere digitally.

Choosing a college, by default, is one of the hardest things for our generation. For many students, it’s challenging because the college you choose will be the place you live for the next four or so years.

On September 27, 2019, Friendship Collegiate Knights faced Good Counsel high school at 7:00 pm. FCA put up a good fight but at the end of the game, Good Counsel walked away with the win.
